Surrounds, hearths + feature walls
Fireplace Surrounds
The one wall everyone faces. Let the stone carry it.
A fireplace surround is often the largest uninterrupted piece of stone in a home, so slab selection and layout matter as much as fabrication.
We fabricate and install surrounds, hearths, legs and headers, and full-height feature walls, with joints and vein direction planned around the firebox opening.
Fabricated + installed in-house · Licensed · Insured
Surround panels
Stone legs and headers framing the firebox, with mitered or eased edges as the design calls for.
Hearths
Raised or flush hearths fabricated to the opening and floor conditions.
Feature walls
Full-height slab walls with inset fireplaces, laid out so the pattern reads as one composition.

Choose the surface for the setting.
Check clearances
Your fireplace or insert manufacturer sets required clearances and material requirements. Have those specs available before design is final.
Engineered quartz and heat
Engineered quartz can be sensitive to heat. Discuss your appliance and its specs before choosing quartz near a firebox.
Natural stone variation
Marble, quartzite and granite are natural; veining and color move across the slab. Review the actual slab when possible.

Asked before
the first cut.
Can stone go right up to the firebox?+
That depends on your fireplace or insert and its manufacturer requirements. We work from those specifications.
Do you build the mantel?+
We fabricate and install the stone. A wood mantel, framing or gas work is handled by other trades.
Can a feature wall be one piece?+
Large walls often need joints because of slab size. We plan joint locations and pattern direction with you.
